Setup your MetaMask Wallet for the Polygon (Matic) Network

You’ll need to configure the Polygon Network custom RPC to your MetaMask. Click on the network selection button on the top of the app.

· Click on the “Custom RPC” to add the Polygon Network information

· Select “Custom RPC”

After clicking “Custom RPC”, enter in the Polygon Network information as below:

Network Name: Polygon Network

New RPC URL: https://rpc-mainnet.matic.network

ChainID: 137

Symbol: MATIC

Explorer: https://explorer.matic.network/

Once you’ve added the details click on the “Save” button. You would be connected to the Polygon Network. You can now close the dialog box.

Prepare your $MATIC for the presale

The $DORA Team recommends 2 ways to fund MATIC to your MetaMask Wallet.

§ Method #1: Purchase $MATIC on AscendEx (BitMax Exchange)

Visit the AscendEx website: https://ascendex.com/

Deposit your assests to purchase $MATIC on the exchange, then withdraw $MATIC to your MetaMask Wallet.

This method #1 is the easiest way to prepare your $MATIC for the presale. However, AscendEx sometimes disables the $MATIC withdrawal.

§ Method #2: Move $MATIC from ETH Network to Polygon Network

Polygon has its own bridge to get funds over to its network from Ethereum. First make sure your MetaMask is on the ETH network. Then visit the Matic wallet: https://wallet.matic.network/bridge

Once you login, this will take you directly to the bridge. Next, you need to

1. Choose $MATIC on ETH Network you want to send over to Polygon Network.

2. Enter the amount you want to send, or click Max.

3. Click “Transfer”.

After you click transfer a message window will pop up. TLDR, just click “Continue”.

The next window is your transfer costs. Since this is an Ethereum transaction you will need to pay ETH gas costs. Try to do this when gas prices are low. If you are good with the costs click “Continue”.

Lastly, we get our overview window. Make sure everything is correct then click “Continue”.

Once you click “Continue”, the MetaMask window will pop up to pay the gas fees and approve the transaction. Click Confirm.

The Matic Bridge will change to a Transaction In Progress status. I’d suggest leaving this open so that you can see when it finishes.

After your ETH transaction is confirmed, you will get the MM notification and the Matic Bridge will change to a Confirmed status. Now we just need to wait for the transfer to be completed on the Polygon side.

Now you can see your balance in your MetaMask wallet. Go back to MetaMask and switch the network to Polygon. You should see your $MATIC that you sent over.

§ Method #3: Bridge $BNB from BSC to Polygon Network then using QuickSwap Exchange to swap Polygon BNB $PBNB to $MATIC

Visit the https://bridge.orbitchain.io/ — this bridge is recommended to use by AutoFarm.network (Post). When you visit the page, click “Select Coin”.

Then choose BNB (Binance Smart Chain).

Choose BSC for the “FROM CHAIN” field.

Click on the MetaMask logo then click “OK” to connect your MetaMask wallet to the bridge site.

· Choose POLYGON for the “TO CHAIN” field.

· Fill the amount of BSC $BNB that you want to send to the Polygon Network.

· Fill your wallet address into the “RECIPIENT ADDRESS” field.

· Click “Convert Now”.

Now you need to wait for the conversion to complete.

When it’s done, wait for a few minutes and you will receive your $PBNB (Polygon BNB).

Add this custom token to your MetaMask Wallet, you’ll see the $PBNB balance shown up.

Then visit the https://quickswap.exchange/#/swap to swap your $PBNB to $MATIC.
